Serge Mouille is an iconic designer, known primarily for his work as a designer of lighting fixtures during the 1950's, Serge Mouille (1922-1988) graduated from the School of Applied Arts in, Paris with a Master Silversmith Diploma. He studied with famous silversmith and sculptor Gilbert LaCroix and, after graduating in 1941, went to work in his studio. In 1945 Serge Mouille became a teacher at the School of Applied Arts and opened his own metalworking studio. In 1953 Jacques Adnet hired Mouille to design lighting fixtures, this became an art to which he devoted the rest of his life. Serge Mouille lamps are known for their extremely high quality & unique design. There is nothing quite like a Serge Mouille lighting fixture.
