Italian coffee table circa 1970 by Cesare Augusto Nava.

Nava’s training was forged by the great architect Gio Ponti

Thanks to him his creations were defined and cared for in every detail. His research of spaces and geometric balances make each of his designs a small masterpiece of aesthetic elegance and modernity at the same time. The coffee table in the Design collection is composed of 4 checkerboard squares that open thanks to a mechanism. The checkerboard has two dominant colors, white and blue. Once opened the table becomes luminous.
